Hi there! I'm Danielle Justilien, a Product Designer who is driven by utilizing UX and visual design to improve the quality of the world around me. People are my passion and I believe design is a powerful tool to make life easier and more pleasant for the human on the other side of the screen.
I've always had quite the curious and ambitious mind, which has led me to gain previous education and experience in brand design, marketing, digital strategy, and project management. Those previous roles have all blended and culminated into my unique, well-rounded perspective on product design. In pursuing this discipline, I have married my enthusiasm for both design and business, and I work to continuously learn and evolve to improve my craft.
Today, you can find me designing to solve complex problems within the partner experience space at IBM. Although I am constantly challenged and learn something new everyday, I have found my strengths in simplifying complex problems, communicating and collaborating effectively, and taking initiative as a design leader where I can. Outside of that work, you can also find me on the leadership team for IBM's Black Girls Code program, in my kitchen trying out a new vegan recipe, or exploring my current city, Raleigh, NC!
